Booking A Display Once you have found a suitable display site and decided upon your budget (see the Planning A Display page), contact us, with your requirements and we'll pencil you into our diary. The first step is for us to survey the intended display site (preferably with you, the customer, in attendance), so that we can satisfy ourselves as to its suitability for the type and size of display you require. While carrying out the site survey, we will be making various notes and will want to discuss our plans with you, so that you and we know what you're expecting from us. The notes we make during the site survey will form the basis of the written risk assessment that we produce for each display that we carry out:
Risk Assessments examine the risks and potential dangers involved in an activity, as well as recording what preventative and protective measures are to be used to reduce the risks to an acceptable level (this is a legal requirement under UK law). If the venue owners require it, we can provide copies of our extensive risk assessments and method statements explaining how we intend to execute the display.
Payment: Once we have agreed that the site is suitable, we are in a position to confirm your booking, as such a minimum deposit of 50% of the total display budget becomes payable. Once this deposit has been received a booking confirmation letter and receipt will be issued. The outstanding amount must be received in full a minimum of two weeks prior to the date of the display.
Cancellation: In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your firework display through adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid. If you chose to cancel the display yourself for whatever reason, we will offer a partial refund, taking into account the circumstances and the expenses/labour we have put into the display. You may now wish to look at the Display Design page. |
